- DEFINITIONS, CHARACTERISTICS AND APPLICATION OF THE LEGISLATION
Cookies are small text files on the ‘Websites’ visited by the ‘User,’ sent and recorded on the ‘User’s’ personal computer or mobile device. These cookies are then re-transmitted to the same websites upon the ‘User’s’ subsequent visit.
Due to these cookies, a website remembers the user’s actions and preferences (such as login data, chosen language, font size, other display settings, etc.) in such a way that they do not have to be newly indicated when the user returns to visit the above-mentioned website or browse from one page to another.
Various types of cookies exist, according to their characteristics and functions. These cookies can remain on the ‘User’s’ computer or mobile device for different durations such as: so-called session cookies, which are automatically deleted when the browser is closed; so-called persistent cookies, that stay on the user’s devices until a predetermined deadline.
‘Cookie Analytics’, used directly by the webmaster to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and how they visit the website, ‘Browsing’ or ‘Session’ cookies, that ensure normal browsing and accessibility of the website (for example allowing to make a purchase or login to access restricted areas); ‘Functional’ cookies, that allow the user to browse according to a set of selected criteria (for example the language and the products selected for purchase) in order to improve the service provided to the same.
Alternately, for ‘Profiling’ cookies, that is, cookies used to create user profiles and designed to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the same user in the context of ‘Web-browsing’, when the user’s prior consent is required.
- TYPES OF COOKIES USED ON OUR WEBSITES
2.1 Our ‘Websites’ use the following types of cookies. It also offers the possibility to deselect the same, with the exception of third-party cookies which require the ‘User’ to refer directly to the relative selection and deselection methods of the respective cookies, indicated via the links.
‘Technical’ cookies are strictly necessary for the operation of the ‘Websites,’ or to allow the ‘User’ to take advantage of the contents and services requested.
Also, ‘Analytical’ cookies, allow the Webmaster to understand how ‘Users’ use the ‘Websites.’
These cookies do not collect any information regarding our ‘Users’ identity or any personal data. Information like this is treated in an aggregate and anonymous manner.
‘Functionality’ cookies used to activate specific functions of the ‘Websites’ and a series of selected criteria (for example products selected for purchase and the language) in order to improve services provided.
‘Profiling’ cookies are designed to create profiles relative to the ‘User’ and are employed in order to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the ‘User’ when ‘Web-browsing.’
ATTENTION: By disabling technical and/or ‘Functionality’ cookies, the ‘Websites’ may not be accessible for certain services. Specific functions of the ‘Websites’ may be unavailable or may not work properly and the ‘User’ may be forced to change or manually enter certain information each time they visit the ‘Websites.’
Aesthego S.r.l.s. uses ‘Third-party’ cookies, namely cookies of websites or web servers other than those of the Data Controller, used for the purposes of these third parties, including ‘Profiling’ and ‘Analytical’ cookies. Note that these third parties, listed below with their respective hypertext links to the privacy policies and grant access to the consent forms provided (as required by the ‘Provision’), act as independent data controllers of data collected through the cookies they send. Therefore, the ‘User’ must refer to their policies regarding the processing of personal data, disclosures and any methods of obtaining consent (selection and deselection of the respective cookies).

Google Doubleclick: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin
Cookies sent directly via the ‘Websites’ are shown below in detail.
2.2 The ‘User’ may select which cookies to authorize through the specific procedure set out in the ‘Cookie Settings’ section, as well as authorize, block or delete (in whole or in part) cookies through the specific functions of their Browser.
In the event that all or some of the cookies are disabled, the ‘Websites’ may become inaccessible, or certain services of the ‘Websites’ may no longer be available.
In this case the ‘Websites’ may not function correctly and/or the ‘User’ may be forced to change, or manually enter preferences each time the ‘User’ visits the ‘Websites.’
- COOKIE SETTINGS
Subsequently, the ‘User’ may make a choice and specifically indicate which cookies to authorize.
‘Users’ are informed that not authorizing the use of technical cookies may make it impossible to use the ‘Websites’ or view its contents and take advantage of related services. Inhibiting functionality of cookies could mean the ‘User’ may be forced to change or manually enter some information each time they visit the ‘Websites.’
The lack of authorisation, with respect to other cookies indicated by third parties, will not affect the operation of the ‘Website.’
However, as such cookies are sent exclusively by third parties, and the Webmaster cannot control the sending of such cookies to the ‘User’s’ terminal, relative objections can only be exercised by accessing the consent forms prepared by the above-mentioned third parties, if any or through the ‘User’s’ browser settings.
Links to the ‘Privacy Policies’ and eventual consent forms for the receipt of cookies prepared by the third parties that send cookies are provided in the section ‘Types Of Cookies used on our Websites’.
Regarding cookies directly sent by the Webmaster, as well as via the procedure made available on this page, the ‘User’ may block or delete cookies (in whole or in part) through the specific functions of the ‘User’s’ navigation browser (see the above).
Choices made by the ‘User’ relative to cookies on the ‘Websites’ will then be recorded in a special ‘Technical’ cookie, possessing the characteristics displayed in the ‘Table Of Cookies.’
Yet, this type of cookie may not function correctly in some circumstances: in these cases, Aesthego S.r.l.s. recommends that the ‘User’ deletes any unwanted cookies and thus inhibiting their use through the functionality of ‘User’s’ web browser.
The ‘User’s’ preferences in relation to cookies will be reset if the ’User’ employs different devices, or browsers to access the ‘Websites.’
